Bluegrass Project

Earlier this year, I worked on a multimedia project with Albert and Ashton for APJ. The assignment was "Bluegrass Legacy", so we shot most of it in and around Rosine, Ky., the home of Bill Monroe. It was a fun assignment. Here are some of my favorites from my shoot at the Rosine Barn Jamboree.

  1. My favorite is the "welcome" photo. The notes look like they were painted as an afterthought, but they have so much energy in contrast to the static stenciled "welcome." Coupled with the banjo, they really evoke the feel of the Jamboree.
